How to go about reusing/utlisiing the dilapidated “paadi” buildings (old row houses for plantation workers) into a boutique hospitality project is what formed the crux of the concept evolution of this project. After a fair few deliberations we felt it would be best if we could box the century-old structure into a spectacle adorning the common space of the newer building as we couldn’t let those glorious, huge natural stone walls go to waste. So, ultimately we ended up ‘boxing the past’, literally and figuratively!

The journey that this project took us through was truly unique as we were always trying to push our own boundaries and kept us on the edge of our seats as the client is someone who is known for his keen eye and passion towards design, hence the project should ultimately exude a character that befits it.

This project is located in Wayanad withinin a huge tea plantation estate, atop a smal cliff overlooking a river stream. In this initial phase, around15 rooms and related amenities are being conceptualised and about to be implemented.
