Right from the beginning when the client approached us with this hospitality project, both of us were in agreement that the site with its thickly grown vegetation has to the star of this project! How we go about building inside this 2 acre plot without hampering the current feel of the site which feels like a forest was our only focus while evolving the design. Sometimes you just have to let the building take a backseat and just be a catalyst in letting the user be one with nature. And thus, woods was born. The site slopes downwards from the approach point and you barely see any major structure on arrival unlike the big gateways we’re used to. From there you climb down and get absorbed by the thick greenery all around you whilst accomodating 6-7 independent cottages and related common amenities.
