Casa de Lujo like its name suggests is a high end luxury home designed in an international feel in it's essence but yet tries to keep the big things simple. Instead of going after ornamentation or intricate details to make it grand, Casa de Lujo brings about luxury and grandeur by its sheer scale and proportions thereby making it more than just something to look but something that can be felt every day. The design tries to integrate the Mediterranean concept of courtyards and open spaces into a contemporary form. The client had a very clear idea of the kind of spaces he wanted and the activities specific to each space and that helped us in segmenting the layout into three, the public, the semi public and the private zones. The huge courtyard spanning about 1400sq.ft which has complete privacy from the outside is something that the client would love to spend time on after his hectic day of business and this space is going to be the star of the house with the entire activity spaces designed around it. Designed on a split-level plot the entirety of the house is functionally ground floor but spread across these two levels with only the core space of the house being a double height space.
